Eccentric Yorkshire industrialist the late Ichabod Davenport presented a life of splendour and opulence. However, behind the scenes this ostentatious lifestyle was far from opulent. Instead Mr Davenport hid his wealth in a vault, a place where only he could see and enjoy this wealth.
Prior to his demise, he made a mechanical number sequence lock for his vault that would reset each time an incorrect sequence was entered. His last will and testament bequeathed the contents of the vault to the person that could solve his riddles and uncover the number sequence with the written clues and numbered plaques he positioned around his home.
